Hyundai recently took home two awards from The New England Motor Press Association (NEMPA) for the 2018 Santa Fe and 2018 Kona. The Santa Fe won the Best in Class Mid-Size SUV award and the Kona was awarded the title of Green Car of the Year. The NEMPA awards showcase some of the top Hyundai models and features on the market.
According to Hyundai, the Santa Fe is a three-row, family friendly model that comes with a 3.3-liter V6 engine and up to 290 horsepower. It features all-wheel drive and Active Cornering Control to improve handling on tough or slippery terrain, while features like Blue Link® and climate control keep everyone comfortable.
“These awards from NEMPA highlights Hyundai’s commitment to excellence in our growing CUV lineup,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president of Product, Corporate and Digital Planning at Hyundai Motor America. “Santa Fe’s AWD system includes Torque-Vectoring Active Cornering Control to provide greater peace of mind in a variety of driving conditions. Kona’s 1.6-liter Turbo is not only powerful, it also delivers outstanding fuel efficiency.”
The Kona is a little different than the Santa Fe, as the Kona is centered around efficiency. It comes with a smart engine that provides the perfect combination of performance and fuel economy, getting an average 33 mpg on the highway.*
We offer both of these models for sale at Randall Noe Hyundai. Feel free to contact us for more information.
