Hyundai In-Car Payment System Displayed at TU-Automotive Detroit

Hyundai has always worked toward making the driving experience easier and more enjoyable. With its latest technology, it will make paying for things like gas and parking even easier. The new Hyundai in-car payment system, called Hyundai Digital Wallet, made its debut at TU-Automotive Detroit.

In its current form, Hyundai Digital Wallet would allow drivers to find, reserve, and pay for parking with ParkWhiz, order and pay for Applebee’s® To Go, and find and pay for gas at Chevron® and Texaco® stations.

Hyundai has been designing this technology with Xevo, a leader in smart software solutions for the automotive industry. By working together, Hyundai and Xevo found ways to securely store a customer’s payment information through Hyundai Blue Link®.

Xevo CEO Dan Gittleman said, “Combining Xevo’s innovative Market solution and our artificial intelligence, car, cloud and mobile expertise with Hyundai’s Blue Link technology makes it possible for Hyundai to offer consumers a secure, convenient way to connect with their favorite brands and make payments while in the car.”

While this technology is still in concept form, it should not take long for Hyundai to iron out the final details and incorporate it into a new within the next few years. We at Randall Noe Hyundai can’t wait to try this payment technology out once it’s here.

2019 Hyundai Santa Fe Debut Takes New York International Auto Show by Storm

There’s a new Hyundai Santa Fe crossover in town. The all-new 2019 Santa Fe was debuted last month during the New York International Auto Show, and we have to say, Hyundai’s best-selling SUV is even better than ever before

The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe debut brought with it some big changes. This all-new vehicle, along with the Santa Fe Diesel model, are two of the eight new or re-engineered crossovers Hyundai will bring to its lineup by 2020. These new models, though, aren’t the only change.

Rather than continuing with the Santa Fe Sport nomenclature, this five-passenger crossover will be simply called the Santa Fe. The three-row model, which is currently called the Santa Fe, will be instead named Santa Fe XL for the 2019 model year. This is because a new three-row, eight-passenger SUV is currently in the works for Hyundai and will have an entirely new name.

For the 2019 model year, the Santa Fe will also feature a new look, highlighted by a wide stance and an athletic body that has beautifully sculpted lines. The interior continues to reflect these design changes, along with adding new Hyundai Smart Sense technologies, including driver assistance technologies like Lane Keeping Assist and Driver Attention Warning.

We can’t wait to see the 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe on the lot at Randall Noe Hyundai, though if you can’t wait to get behind the wheel of a new Santa Fe, then stop by the dealership, and we will show you our stock of 2018 models.

New Hyundai Nexo Achieves World’s Best Driving Range

Next month in Korea, Hyundai will release its all-new next-generation fuel cell vehicle, the NEXO. Hyundai revealed the new eco-vehicle at the CES 2018 tech show, displaying its ever-growing commitment to eco-friendly and low-emission vehicles.

The Hyundai NEXO is technologically smart and efficient, achieving the world’s best driving range. It can travel up to an incredible 609 kilometers, or approximately 378 miles, on a single charge. With its state-of-the-art technology and driver assist systems, the NEXO pulls ahead of its competition, placing itself at the forefront of fuel cell and electric cars. Another added perk of the NEXO is that it actually filters and purifies the air as you drive, cleaning the environment around you.

The NEXO’s smart design stands out alongside its incredible capabilities. It features a sleek, aerodynamic exterior silhouette, and a stylish and technologically-advanced interior. Its driver assist technology includes a suite of advanced safety features, including Blind-spot View Monitor (BVM), which uses a wide-angle Surround View Monitor (SVM) to alert you if vehicles are in your blind spots when changing lanes. It also features Hyundai’s all-new Lane Following Assist technology, which is making its debut on the NEXO. This technology will keep you centered in your lane and maintain a set speed and following distance when paired with the Highway Driving Assist (HDA) feature.

In the past, one of the obstacles in the way of electric car adoption was driving range. By being able to go nearly 400 miles on a single charge, the Hyundai NEXO takes a big step forward into the future of mobility.

Hyundai’s Biggest Moments of 2017

The Hyundai brand continues to grow in sales and customer loyalty while expanding its product lineup. To celebrate a successful year, we’ve put together five of Hyundai’s biggest moments of 2017.

1 – Announcement of US Investment

Around this time last year, Hyundai announced that it was going to invest $3.1 billion in U.S. operations in the next five years, and is going to open another manufacturing plant on U.S. soil.

2 – Debut of Hyundai Ioniq

The debut of Hyundai’s electric and hybrid vehicle made waves when the Hyundai Ioniq hit dealerships in February 2017.

3 – April Fools

We admire a company that likes to have a little fun. Hyundai cracked a big joke this past spring when it announced that the company would be delivering vehicles to customers’ homes via drone delivery, creating an unforgettable April Fools prank.

4 – Retirement of the Azera Sedan

It’s good when a company knows what works and what doesn’t—that’s part of what makes the Hyundai lineup so excellent. While we loved the Azera sedan, it was bid farewell to make room for an even better future.

5 – Introduction of the All-New 2018 Hyundai Kona

Hyundai announced that it plans to completely rework its crossover and SUV selection, and that change started with the debut of the new, stylish, compact crossover: the 2018 Hyundai Kona. To learn more about this exciting new SUV, visit us at Randall Noe Hyundai.

How to Keep Your 2018 New Year Resolutions

2017 is on its way out and 2018 is quickly approaching. If you haven’t achieved your resolution by now, you’d better hurry. If you failed this year, take steps to ensure it doesn’t happy in 2018. At Randall Noe Used Cars, we have a few tips to help you keep your 2018 New Year resolutions!

Look for Support

Many people can’t achieve their New Year resolutions alone. Finding a support group, whether it involves friends, family, or an actual outside support group, will ultimately increase your odds of success. Their encouragement can help drive you to keep working towards your goal.

Talk About it

Talking about your resolution with other people may be annoying, but it also helps commit you to your goal. It may also help to share your experiences with friends and family in order to fully realize how far you’ve come since ringing in the New Year.

Change Slowly

The fact of the matter is that most people won’t be able to keep a years-long bad habit in a few days’ time. If you’ve been smoking for 40 years, don’t plan on quitting cold turkey. Instead, aim to cut down on how much your smoke per a day and continue working down from there. Small steps and changing slowly are the best methods of keeping your 2018 New Year resolutions.

Hyundai Motors Named Among World’s Most Valued Brands by Interbrand

Hyundai Motors has once again been ranked among the world’s most valued brands by Interbrand. For the second year in a row, the South Korean automaker has claimed the 35th spot in this list of global companies. The automaker has been in the top 40 for the last three years.

This year, it is little surprise that Hyundai scored so well. Its value in US dollars is $13.2 billion, which marked a solid 5.1% increase over last year.

Wonhong Cho, Chief Marketing Officer at Hyundai Motor Company, made these remarks: “Hyundai Motor aims to be a lifestyle brand rather than simply an automotive brand, so we are building on our ‘Modern Premium’ brand direction and moving into new automotive spaces that allow people to experience our brand value at every touch point. Our brand philosophy and blueprint for future mobility has resulted in the rise of our brand value and, in addition to quality, technology and price, our creativity and innovation will lead us to achieve sustainable brand growth in the future.”

Hyundai Motors scored so well that it placed above top contenders like Audi, Nissan, Porsche, and Volkswagen. In total, it sold 4.86 million units across the globe.

Hyundai expects to see continued success in the coming year. The automaker just unveiled its new 2018 Hyundai Accent at the Orange County International Auto Show; the Accent will be added to already successful 2018 lineup here in the United States.

Find out what that lineup is made of by scheduling some test drives here at Randall Noe Hyundai.
